Hello! I'm Kelly Kirkwood.
I created this blog to document my participation in the 2013 UK Fulbright International Education Administrators Seminar. My hope is that this blog allows my friends, family and colleagues to share in my journey. I also hope future (or hopeful) Fulbright program participants find it a helpful resource.
A Fulbright has been on my bucket list since I started working in international education back in 2002. I am so grateful and honored to finally have the opportunity to enhance my knowledge of the UK higher education systems while traveling with a wonderful group of U.S. leaders.
When I am not traveling around the UK or blogging, I am the Assistant Director of Study Abroad for Ball State University. My professional interests include the application of student development theory to education abroad advising, faculty preparation for teaching abroad, and assisting individuals considering future careers in education abroad.
